The ISSA Digicel Manning Cup Schoolboy Football 2019 season resumed today as St Catherine High hammered Penwood High 9-0. Assanie Brown grabbed four for the Preces as they kicked off Group C in elegant style.

Elsewhere in Group C action, STATHS brushed aside Oberlin High by five goals to nil, and Papine High ran out two-nil winners against Northern Tech.

Charlie Smith defeated the returning Donald Quarrie 5-0, Jonathan Grant 4-1 Ascot High and Denham Town 3-1 Kingston High in Group B action.

St. Jago High had to come from behind to take all three points from Haile Selassie in a 2-1 victory. The only other Group A fixture saw Bridgeport and Cumberland play to a 1-1 draw.

Last seasons beat finalists St. Georges College began their campaign in winning fashion as they brushed aside Eltham High 2-0 in Group F action. Other results from the group saw Ardenne clip Campion College 1-0, meanwhile, Calabar versus Norman Manley was abandoned due to inclement weather.
